Community Unity Program was initially founded in 2015. Having two sons in high school simultaneously, she realized there was a need to help single parent families and those temporarily down on their luck. We wanted to provide assistance with the rising costs of extracurricular activities, school supplies, and general assistance with those unexpected situations that come out of nowhere. We are working to build a strong, resilient community for all.
At C.U.P., We aim to be a resource for helping children throughout their time in school (K-12 and beyond) We aim to provide programs to help supplement the costs for fees for high cost programs and events. We wanted to provide some basic needs such as school supplies, food when school is out, and other items as needed. There were times when we needed assistance for our family, and we wanted to find a way to give back.
S.C.A.P. (Senior Citizens Assistance Program)
We love our elderly community. They give so much, and sadly at times are overlooked in their times of need. We noticed the rising need for assistance for senior citizens with low, or fixed income in our surrounding communities. We aim to be a resource to help them feel safer and more free to move about as needed.
C.U.P. was started with the sense of having the community come together to help those in need. -MarQuis McAlister

We support those who have hit a rough patch in life. We want to give back to the same community that gives so much to others on a daily basis.
We have incorporated programs that call for UNITY. We want to come together to fix issues in our communities.
